In my final reflection, I will address the authentic questions I had wondered about prior to tinkering with the Magic Bullet I was so curious about:
How is the Magic Bullet Blender different from a regular blender? What advantages does it have over a regular blender? It is different because it turns out it is a food extractor, not a blender. It is so powerful that it must not run for any longer than a minute. It is highly efficient and does its job quick!
Is the Magic Bullet easy to use? It is VERY simple and easy to use!
Can I use it to make something else other than smoothies? Turns out I can also make power bars, raw hummus, apple sauce, apple cider and a variety of other snacks and light dinners such as soups!
Is the Magic Bullet blender dish-washer safe? Only the cups are dish-washer safe and they must be placed on the top rack!!!
Is the Magic Bullet limited to only fruits and vegetables? Not at all! All kinds of different ingredients such as milk, spices, nuts, almonds, and a variety of other ingredients can be used!
Where can I find some tasty recipes to use with the Magic Bullet Blender? A whole community on Twitter and Google plus is available to support our learning regarding recipes for the Magic Bullet. Even pinterest has many recipes available!
How can I keep track of of my successes and failures? I can continue to use my Weebly site, my Diigo library and my posts on Twitter and Google plus to keep track of my successes and failures!
What will a yummy smoothie taste like? A yummy smoothie should taste cold! If it is warm it's not going to taste very yummy at all!
Besides pre-washing my fruits and vegetables, will any other prep be necessary prior to using the Magic Bullet? Just as long as I take out the core of any fruit that may have one the Nutri Bullet is powerful enough to work with whole fruits and vegetables, meaning I don't have to pre-cut or pre-chop anything up!
Will the Magic Bullet blender require lots of maintenance? Not at all! Just rinse the blades and wash out the cups and its ready for use again!
Do the fruits and vegetables have to be a specific size? As long as they fit in the cup, they're good to go!
Is there such a thing as a summer recipes vs. winter recipes using the Magic Bullet blender? I found out seasonal recipes do exist! Holiday recipes were very easy to find. I'm enjoying the scent of Christmas in my food!
Is it possible to create smoothie that will serve as a meal replacement? Yes! I did find many recipes that could be used as meal replacements.
Can I mix the recipes and still end up with a successful blend of some sort? I have yet to explore this particular question. I don't want to just mix random recipes and end up with some distasteful mix of something!
Can I create a few vegetarian smoothies, or other meals, with the Magic Bullet Blender? I saw more vegan than vegetarian recipes. I was excited to see so many vegan recipes because I have a friend who's vegetarian and this way I can share some of my treats with her.
How much time will it take me on a daily basis to use the Magic Bullet? It takes longer to look up the recipe, go shopping for the ingredients and put all the ingredients together compared to the few seconds it takes for the Nutri Bullet to do its job. You put it all together and just let the Nutri Bullet take care of the rest in just a few seconds. Then, your product is ready to be consumed.
Will using the Magic Bullet blender be complicated or user-friendly? It is very user-friendly!
What safety precautions must I take while using the Magic Bullet blender? Just makes sure you wash the extractor blades with caution so you don't get cut. Other than that, it is very safe to use.
Do I need to be close to an outlet to plug it in, or does it have a battery? It is NOT battery-operated, so you DO need to be close to an outlet to plug it in.
How many servings can I make using the Magic Bullet? The tall cup yields two servings and the short cup yields one serving. However, I always found it to be more than enough! Those must be some very large servings. Personally, I feel that the tall cup yields four servings and the short cup two servings.
All in all I found my experience with the Nutri Bullet to be a very adventurous one. As closely as I followed the recipes, I wouldn't always end up with the same exact product that they advertised. As I continue to play with it I'll discover my own recipes to share with others and contribute to the Magic Bullet community. It was a great experience to be able to have access to so many people globally and especially on Twitter where you can pose a question and within minutes, if not seconds, you have many people answering and providing you with tips and tricks to hone in on your practice of using the Magic Bullet. As a connected learner, I will never be short on guidance or suggestions and I am surrounded by a whole community of people who are also passionate about creating different recipes to use with the NutriBullet. Everyone is so encouraging and supportive!
