Yesterday evening, Monday, October 13, 2014, my dad and I finally got around to making some time to go grocery shopping together so that I could try out my Magic Bullet Nutrition Extractor for the first time! It was a lot easier to use than I imagined.
The last ingredient was water. We had to add water until it reached the line that said "MAX" Now comes the exciting part! We get to screw the lid onto the tall cup and turn it upside down. It turns out the lid is the part that has the blades! We noticed the Magic Bullet comes with two types of lids: the extractor blade and the milling blade. We have yet to discover the difference. My dad asked me what the milling blade is used for and I responded, "that's part of my 20% project! To find out what each part of this Magic Bullet is used for!" So it is part of the discovery process that we are undergoing. I'm glad we had questions as we were using the Magic Bullet because that's what this journey is all about; questions arising out of natural curiosity and that will drive our learning! We screwed the lid on, turned the entire tall glass upside down and placed it onto the red base. Then we gently turned it to make it fit into the small slits (it has 3 of them) and as soon as we plugged it in, it started doing its job automatically! I discovered the The Magic Bullet does not have an on or off button. It just automatically starts as soon as you plug it in. It kind of looks like a chocolate shake to me! Ha! But it tastes nothing like chocolate! It's still yummy, though! I nice healthy alternative. We let it do its job for less than a minute! It is pretty efficient. I was surprised that we didn't even have to let it go for more than just a few short seconds. My dad guided me throughout the process of using the Magic Bullet since it was my very first time using it. The smoothie was delicious and it tasted better than I imagined. I wasn't to sure how it would taste with so much spinach in it, but it was tasty! I will try to post two videos on Twitter and you should also be able to find the two videos in our PLN through google+.
